        <annotation>The animal grasps and lifts one of 4 knobs in response to visual cues. Knobs are arrayed left to right: 1. left rectangle, 2. small round, 3. right rectangle, 4. large round. The task comprises 8 stages: 1. approach, 2. contact, 3. grasp, 4. lift, 5. hold, 6. lower, 7. relax, 8. release. Markers also indicate the end of the previous trial (stage 0), and start of the next one (stage 9). We distinguish 4 approach styles: 1. forward, 2. lateral, 3. overhand, 4. regrasp, and 3 grasp styles: 1. full hand, 2. precision [thumb and digit tips], 3. ulnar [propped by digit tips].</annotation>
